Melanie started the business because she wanted to share this fitness program with others, knowing how effective it was for getting stronger and more fit. What she didn’t realize is how much it would change her and her clients beyond the physical. Now eight years later, she has had the privilege of bearing witness and having a role in the incredible transformations that her staff and clients have undergone over the years. Through this form of dance, people find a great fitness program but what keeps them immersed in it is the transformation and the community. Many people claim it has healed them emotionally and spiritually, gave them confidence, independence, and a better perspective of just how amazing they are. Melanie has experienced her own healing and transformation. As a domestic violence, eating disorder, and body dysmorphic disorder survivor, Melanie has come to heal past wounds, become healthier and more confident, and instrumental in helping others make progress in healing and growing from similar trauma and challenges through movement. On a more personal note, Melanie has been happily married to Joe since 2006, she is the mother of four, ages 11, 20, 24, and 26, and grandmother of two, ages 4 and 8 months.
