There are countless nutrition and diet programs that health and weight conscious people can choose from. If you’re like the majority of those who have tried to lose weight or change their body image, you know from experience that these programs often solve one issue, but not others. And sometimes these programs can even introduce new challenges into your life. In the end, they are generally only temporary fixes.

Holistic nutrition takes a fresh approach. It looks at all of who we are as eaters. It aims to transform your relationship with food. And that right there is what makes it so unique and revolutionary. A holistic nutritionist will not approach you as having an “issue” or a “problem,” because you don’t.

The social messages that we take in each day tell us that the ideal woman is thin. But the ideal woman for you is you. And that is what a holistic nutritionist teaches: a great collection of ways to learn to love and respect yourself and be healthy at the same time.

The field of eating psychology is ever changing and evolving, but the core tenant is that mind, body, heart and soul are interconnected and interdependent.

If this idea lights your heart, if it brings you joy to know that there are holistic nutritionists out there who teach this revolutionary method, then we encourage you to consider becoming one by obtaining a holistic nutrition degree.

How to Obtain a Holistic Nutrition Certification

The Institute for the Psychology of Eating is a holistic nutrition school that offers a one-of-a-kind program. Through our holistic nutrition education program you learn to teach others to:

  • Eat, not feed – as so many people do today. When people feel hungry, they often look for the quickest fix, eating nutrient-deficient foods just to feel satiated.
  • Make connections between food and well-being. Because food is such an integral part of our lives, as our relationship with food improves, so do our relationships in other areas of our lives. This affects aspects like the overall pleasure and success we get out of life – with loved ones, in work, in our creative pursuits, in our earning power, and so much more.
  • Seek empowerment through a renewed sense of self. The Institute focuses on seeing our relationship with food as pointing to a deeper relationship with self. Ultimately, that’s where our happiness springs from.

Once you complete our Distance Learning Program at IPE, you receive your holistic nutrition certification and can go on to work with others and help them soar to new levels. There are countless opportunities to help heal the world using a holistic degree and all of its skills. We’d love to show you how.
