Getting Real About Weight – with Marc David

gettingrealweightvideoEverything moves in cycles, including the media’s spin on the best way to lose weight.

We have entire shows on television built around watching people tear down their bodies as fast as possible for cash prizes.
And it’s all too easy to see the same old strategies that still haven’t taken us where we want to go: eat less, exercise more, have more willpower, count your calories… Sound familiar?

With obesity rates on the rise, despite all the weight-loss strategies, diet plans, pills and surgery, it seems that our options are less than inspiring.
The good news is, there’s a whole other level to this very important discussion that needs to be heard about this richly complex, multi-dimensional phenomenon called weight.

I invite you to take a look at the video below:

My warmest regards,

I like where you are going with this. Have you heard Linda Bacon Phd?
She wrote a great book called Health at Every Size. Her scientific findings have been a great help in me letting go of the idea that my bigger body is not necessarily to be blamed for my health challenges.

  • Marc David

    Hi Paula,
Thanks for joining the conversation! I’m very familiar with Linda Bacon and am very much in line with HAES…

  • Robin

What a beautiful and intriguing message (and something I’m finding true within myself as I’ve been healing my own relationship with food and my body). Thank you!

      Hi Robin,

So glad you connected with the video.

      Thanks for reaching out…
