Women, Sex, and Food:
The Intimate Connection Between Eating Psychology and Sacred Sexuality
Join Marc David and Emily Rosen for a powerful day long Workshop!
This transformative workshop is all about how our “food life” is deeply connected to our “sex life.” So many of the challenges women face around weight, body image, overeating, compulsive eating, and chronic dieting are directly linked to the domain of sexuality. Even more fascinating, many of our health challenges – such as digestive issues, fatigue, mood fluctuations, and immune challenges – have been clinically linked to past wounding around sexuality. We’ll call upon the wisdom of Yoga, Tantra, Mind-Body Science, Clinical Nutrition, Dynamic Eating Psychology, and Sacred Sexual Healing to illuminate the profound ways that the dance between sexuality and eating impacts body and soul. We’ll spend our time together with equal parts lecture, experiential exercises and sharing, along with some lively group conversation. Our intention is that you’ll have some fun, and come away with compelling new insights and breakthroughs in your relationship with food, eating, health and sexuality. Some key highlights include:
* The psychophysiology of pleasure as it relates to food and sex
* How digestive metabolism is intimately connected to sexuality
* The hidden connection between sexual wounding and calorie burning capacity
* The metabolic and sacred sexual function of weight and body fat
* How Masculine and Feminine psychology impacts our experience of food and sex
* The Yogic and Mind-Body Science of how sexual healing catalyzes metabolic healing
* Tools and techniques for empowerment around eating
* Tantric insights into nutritional health
* Mind/Body/Tantra tools for improving energy and metabolism
This workshop is great for women and men who wish to further their own personal growth and evolution, and is highly recommended as well for tantra practitioners, health coaches, and any healing professional looking to expand their practice.
